Eva’s counselling training comes from an integrative model combining psychodynamic and humanistic ways of working. This approach is flexible and can be adapted to whatever works best for the client in order to support
them and to assist them in the solving of their problems.
She started her career in the health sector and worked for private practices and the NHS, working with children and special needs groups before going on to study counselling & psychotherapy. Since then she has gained experience in a number of agency settings including Waterloo Community Counselling (Multiethnic Counselling), St. Thomas' Hospital, MIND, RCA and The Place2Be.
She provides counselling in a warm, safe and confidential environment in order to explore and understand the clients’ difficulties. Her experience includes working with depression, stress, relationship problems, trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety, panic, anger and rage, and challenges ocurring as a result of life changes. She has a special interest in working with people from different cultures and countries, and  dealing with issues arising from cultural adjustment. She provides counselling in Spanish and English.
Eva is a senior accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and works according to their code of Ethics and Practice http://www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework/.
The service Eva offers one–to-one, couples & Supervision counselling and therapy for adults in South West London. Video Services available upon request.
